PetVet was the Exclusive Veterinary Service Partner for a program held by Tails of Freedom at Colombo City Centre on 27th & 28th September to advocate for a better future for commercial breed companion animals in Sri Lanka. The event brought together passionate individuals, rescuers, and animal welfare advocates to shed light on the heartbreaking reality of unregulated backyard breeding and animal cruelty that still exists in Sri Lanka.

PetVet was honored to be part of this meaningful movement. As a clinic that champions responsible pet ownership, it was deeply rewarding to connect with so many like-minded people who care about giving every animal a chance at a happy, healthy life. We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by to chat, ask questions, share their stories, and support the cause. Every conversation, every bit of awareness raised, and every act of compassion helps move us one step closer to ending cruelty and building a safer world for our furry companions.
